Turnbuckles / How do you set them up?
Assembled mine so they are the same length but when fitted on the car they are angled down to the wheel ballstud.
My thinking is they should be level but you regular dave drivers will know better I hope
So which way is it best to have them set?
1. Level
2. Lower at the wheel ballstud
3. Higher at the wheel ballstud
4. or doesn't it matter with the Mardave?

The higher up you mount them on the servo saver the more steering angle to servo movement you will get.
I would say mount them low if A. you have a quick servo B. if you tend to run at places like ardent where you have lots of time and space and rarely need to use much steering lock and if you do then your scrubbing off corner speed at a track in a class where all speed/momentum is vital.
Second really make sure the ball joints are smooth and as for whether to mount them so the turnbuckles are level......... Well I would go for whatever angle gives you the smallest amount of steering angle change as the front suspension spring compresses. This will vary with how many washers you run under your a frames. This gives you a more consistant car through the steering travel range.
Hope this helps.

A = Savox 1251
B= TRCC, not as big as Ardent

Ok cool well I would still go with them lower on the arms and if you need more lock then dial some in on the transmitter.
How does your car drive what would you like it to do more of?

I'll find out soon when I've finished the build. So far only turned a wheel on the pit table.
Hope to run it Saturday night coming
