F1 main shaft material
Raced at ardent yesterday and think i might have bent the main shaft before i purchase another one would like to know if anyone has used a different type of material.Alluminium shafts are available from rc mart but have people made there own i.e silver steel?

Hi mate check that is not the hex out drive you have bent not the axle.
I know alot of guys use a solid or toughened steel axle and some use carbon graphite, its pretty much down to whatever you fancy and what you can get hold of.
The rc mart ones are a good bet but buy a couple at a time for those just incase moments

will take a closer look later.
I think for the next meeting fewer cars per race in F1 would be better as 10 in the final at those speeds was a bit cramped.

Yeah no worries mate I have written about the fewer cars thing in club meets too long a day topic post.
