BL gearing for Ardent Empty BL gearing for Ardent

Really thinking of going 13.5 and Lipo but need to know what ball park gearing you guys are running at Ardent please?
Also are you guys running 32dp or 48dp

All down to Motor and esc Lee but james and my self are using 70 / 29 but standard rule of thumb ( 48dp )


motor hot =down a pinion

esc hot = up a pinion

Ill be there tomoz ( tuesday as normall )

But untill you get your system its hard to say

Cheers Gazza....just needed a starting point as I'm currently running 32dp gear, might change over to 48dp (same as my buggy!)

Well the motor will be a Losi 13.5 (as thats what I have in my pit box) and speedo maybe the Hobbywing 1s speedo yet? Dont know yet as I've not bought it yet lol

If it's not legal then I won't race at ardent with it!! Or if I do then I just won't have any points etc!

It's like the Tekin speedo I have future proof not just for the dave but other RC cars I have as well Wink

AT1 Sidecar / Plan to try mine in the Dave as well, legal or not

Two running at TRCC in GT10 though and going well. Adam Catchpole won Ardent 12th with a Tekin and swapped to HW after he saw mine and the setup's you could programme.

giantcod.co.uk should have them soon and maybe cheaper than the one you've linked to. My extreme stock was less on giantcod than it is on your link

Hear good things said about them! I hope they do get the speedo in pretty quickly, as I've just bought a 1s lipo and just need a speedo to go with it cheers

@ Glenn..... Have you run a Tekin speedo in the past Glenn? If so how do the 2 speedo's compair? Any major differences between then ie software, settings etc
