1s lipo for a mardave

I'm after a 1s lipo for my mardave as I can't get the one I want till the mid may and I wanted to use it at the first rccurcuite round on the 15th may.
the teampowers 6000 60c was the one I wanted but just want a cheap secondhand one to use before that one comes.

Offer the guy £24 that's his best price for one on its own, tell him "Matthias" put you in touch as he just had one from you.

Ok bud I will have a look. Just tryed the gtb in the car with nims and it all works fine. I was a bit worried about buying second hand but I just couldnt afford new.

I know how it is mate i had to do a deal with someone to get my GTB2 with my tekin RS-pro but the tekin has gone to a good home and it was the only way i could get the GTB2 otherwise i would be stuck in brushed for ever...............................................

Anyway check that lipo mate its cheap and looks good, i should have mine in a few days so ill post and let you know what's what with it.

My only concern is that says in the handbook not to use any lower than a 2c lipo? Will it harm the esc?

Under powering a speedo isn't ever going to harm it only over powering it would do damage. They tend to go overboard on all warnings so they don't face any legal action or come back especially if it's an American manufactuerer like Novak

Give Paul a ring at Vapex tell him you are from this website buddy im sure you maybe looked after

if your running a gtb with 1s am i not right in saying you will need a voltage booster or you may miss laps and have slow steering from voltage drop

Tomo you no me for over stressing but I just wanted to check.

Paul ive looked on the vapex site and they don't do 1s lipo with enough mha or c rating.

Neil I have a booster just in case.

im useing the GTB2 with a massive servo and my own PT, ive had no problems what so ever with it.... the documentation that comes with the ESC states it has novak smart boost built in so 6v on the Bec at all times....... happy days

yeah the gtb2 WILL run 1s lipo no problems bit his is the GTB ,,, i know ash ran a smart boost with his


the gtb2 is a better package neater install

Marti can you photo copy and post this as I have re read my instructions and there is no mention of this any where or a linK to your esc ON THE WEB

My bad, it does say it on the sheet but it's in the accessory section...lol didn't read the accessory bit.

And thats the Voltage CUT OFF . . . no mention of the smart boost. . . . so is this what you are on about ?

there is an accessory section on the back of that i think or on the other guide and in there it mentions the smart boost...!

Can you let me know what this cell is like please? I've been looking at them for months now and have always shy'd away from them if they are any good might invest in a couple myself

Neil are they leads or 4mm plugs? How old are they? Might be interested in them

they are leads currently fitted with ec3 connectors have the matching one for your esc they are 3 months old buddy

You going to have to post a LINK or a Photo copy of them Marti as they seem to be total differant ESC paper work

Where did you find the 6000mah 65c for £30?

I have been looking all over and not found them
