Re: Ascari
I love the handling of the Ascari shell. I find it pretty much fits in between the handling of the Mazda and Lotus - not as much front end as the Lotus but a bit more pointy around the track than the Mazda. Out of the 4 shells currently favoured in the series it is definitely my favourite.
I've not cut the back of mine at all though. The lexan seems extremely thin across the middle of the back section and I'm worried it might be easilly split if too mich is taken out. Looking at those pictures it seems as if a fair amount of the rear diffuser area might be able to be removed without breaking any rules, but how mich exactly? It would be healpul to have a mould line on the shell in that area to act as a guide.
In the mean time I have simply left mine un-cut and masked / sprayed it so that it looks fully cut. I have also reinforced the rear with a couple of coats of 'Fender Mender' to toughen it up a wee bit. Several meetings have gone by now and no damage... Works for me :-)

PMSL gazz "it's not drifting"
Love the shape and I'm shur when paul puts the DRIFT mesh on it will be stronger so it won't split. Keep the style coming paul.
Give it time and you will have lights on it like me
