Well it seems ok here in Nuneaton at 8.pm this morning so lets keep our fingers crossed

Headline:
Cloudy with rain this morning. Heavy showers later and overnight.

Today:
Cloudy with outbreaks of rain at first, particularly in northern counties. Becoming drier for a time around midday, but scattered heavy or thundery showers will spread from the west during the second half of the afternoon. Mainly light winds. Maximum temperature 18 °C.

Tonight:
Heavy showers continuing overnight, still potentially thundery, but mostly confined to southern counties. Northern areas drier but still fairly cloudy, with the odd lighter shower remaining a possibility. Minimum temperature 9 °C.

Monday:
A generally cloudy start with a few showers, though these mostly lighter than previously. Becoming drier and brighter through the day, with some sunny spells developing by evening. Maximum temperature 18 °C.
