Good day with the boys... shame my car was pants. The track was covered in aditive which made it strainge to race on, plus the cold didn't help me thinks.
As for pauls rocket car well that says it all. runs nice in the corners on flys on the straights. Thanks for letting me have a go with it bud.

Big thankyou to gazza for sorting me car while I was playing with pauls car.

sees you all on the 12th

Also worth checking that your rear pivot pin is screwed in tight as any side to side movement of the rear pod can cause alsorts if handling issues

cheers tomo. checked it and it ok but it's a bit loose in the hole now because I think I was driving it for ages with the ball joint out.
All sorted now thow cuz I've fixed the ball joint with a little modin and changed the base plate for a new one.

I can't understand why it came of as I didn't hit the sides hard and never crashed out?????? I think there must be a cheeky christmas elf playing with me car as I'm loosing things around the house and Nikki tells me its the chrismas elf being cheeky. lol!

John wants some small electricity radiant heaters mounted on the columns facing the pitting area. That would provide some comfort. The foil face insulation would then be very effective.

Waste of time with convection heating (like blowers) in that area, all the heat would migrate into the roof space, provide no benefit and it would cost a fortune.

Hi rich thats what he already has alongside patio heaters around the cafe area and some jet heaters around the place also.
They are normally only on for race meetings but people put them on during the day sometimes too.

Well some of you may know my Mr's is into star gazeing and we have a weather station so. . . .
last night the temp droped to -9 affraid

Thats the lowest I have known it in 10 years so yea its getting colder

so if you have TO TRAVEL ALWAYS . . ALWAYS MAKE SURE you have a FULL tank of petrol / Diesel so if you do get stuck at least you can kep warm also DOUBLE check ya anti freeze as -9 is a little colder than most years as I would rather spend £20 on antifreeze than £2000 for a new engine / radiator

yeah make shure your car is topped up guys

was called out at 2am yesterday for 3 emergency vans that had broken radiators and all are coming in monday to have the radiators checked and possiably covered aswell.

yeah -10 next week, YAY for arctic weather. i put all my batts in a better place than my garrage as it was way to cold down there and i had to throw out 2 galleons of nitro fuel after the water in it seperated because of the cold. so thats £50 out of pocket unexpectedly.

i got to watch my roof careful too now as theres a little crack in the roof that has gotten bigger in the past few days Sad

i hope all the tin foil in ardent helps
