DDMCR Nice Empty DDMCR Nice

Post  Admin Thu Jan 27, 2011 9:07 am

Well tonight i went a trip to lemington to have a look at the new track at DDMCR and what a cracking little club it was as well it was great to see some old faces as well
the club is based in a sports hall with a cracking track layout as well.
What i did notice was how everyone was enjoying the racing it was a no pressure meeting and it would be a good starting point for anyone wanting to race with a great bunch of guys.
The committee have truly got the club at heart as i spoke to one of the guys who says we plough every penny back into the club from the chocky bars to the tea's and coffee this club is not out to make a fast book!!!
The track is a nice size and in Febuary will see it take over the full lenth of the sports hall now that then will be on Par with Tamworth and i can see some good comps taking place there.
what else can i say about the club well its freindly laid back and from what i seen great fun as well everyone was there helping each other out and that is worth a million dollars alone so if you dont fancy racing in a telephone box track then head down to DDMCR im sure you will be made welcome Mark Cooper was there with a full selection of spares and advice as well along with Mark Tomo's dad was there with his eagle eyes casting over the racing that guy can spot a car that is not performing straight away its nice that he puts in the time and advice to people.
A good old handshake was had with Roy Maiden as well who seemed to be clearly haveing a ball as well i wish the club every best wishes from this site with its future and from what i can see tonight it can only be a very bright future well done guys you are onto a winner

Nice write up paul, huge thanks for making this great club abit more well known.
Track is being inlarged next week with an extended straight but with more to follow.
The more racers we have the quicker these improvements can be made.

What im looking for is how many heats could you have or do have at the moment as you have to be out by 10pm

Just wondered if you had more drivers or what would be max amount of drivers to heats etc so your still out by 10pm
