Re: Brca 3rounds Gt and F1
You could come up to TRCC and race the Saturday club night. Check nearer the date to see if we are having a club night.
Teesside is in Teesside or Cleveland depending on who you listen to. I prefer Teesside as some years back TRCC changed its name to Teesside Radio Car Club due the area becoming known as Teesside due to local government changes. For some reason lots of folk call it Cleveland

Re: Brca 3rounds Gt and F1
hoefully I'll do Ardent & Teesside as I'm not on shift for those two
Maritime's about 275 miles one way so will miss that one
Ardent I'll have to travel so I'll come down on Saturday for a spot of practice
Teesside's on my door step

Re: Brca 3rounds Gt and F1
Hello everyone,
Just thought I'd drop in to say hi and thank you all for your support thus far. As has been mentioned, there is now a dedicated forum for GT10 on brca.org, and its on there that you'll find all of the info relating to the series.
Feel free to email me (12cpro@brca.org) or post in the BRCA forum if you have any questions or queries.
We need your support in helping to promote the series, so make sure you mention it to everyone you know that might be interested - current racers or not!
We look forward to seeing you all at Ardent in May!

I will NEVER EVER USE PAY PAL AGAIN After they took my money out my account and took ages to get back
So thats me out of the running

Re: Brca 3rounds Gt and F1
I'm sorry to say that you lot really aren't helping yourselves with any of this!
Read the Frequently asked questions bt on the BRCA page to find out why upfront payment is necessary. Cheques are being phased out soon, meaning you'll have to use electronic methods to pay for anything unless you're stood in a shop.
Saying you wont enter because you wont use paypal is ludicrous! If you're that worried, get a friend to use their paypal to pay for your entry and give them the cash.
You have a recognised BRCA national championship being run by a good group of people at some great venues. What is there to complain about?!

Re: Brca 3rounds Gt and F1
So you want to send cash in the post for everything? A method with no traceable record or insurance. That makes you a braver man than me, and I have a Paypal account!

Yes we can, and we have! Paypal or don't race - take your pick.
I'll bet that if you REALLY want to race then you'll borrow a pals Paypal account and book in. If you dont really want to race then you wont book in. That is your choice to make, and one which I will not hate you for. We will, however, be disappointed not to receive your entry...
Re: Brca 3rounds Gt and F1
Mark
As a Man I have morals
No you dont and I wont
I never send cash by post I send a cheque
How my life is and works is fine I will not be dictated to by any one if I Really want to race like you say I have two choices race or not race
in this situation as I guess in all BRCA events its pay pal so I do have a choice I pay on the day with cash or dont race
So there fore I PICK not to race NO one forces me to do any thing im my own MAN with morals
I will NEVER EVER USE paypal my Morals and I stick by it I will not even give money to a Mate to book in
I HATE PAY PAL THAT MUCH
so looks like YOU WILL be disappointed not to receive my entry...

Re: Brca 3rounds Gt and F1
Paypal does suck, and they don't care whatsoever, but they operate in the UK so are subject to UK laws, so if they caused you to go overdrawn and you we're charged or we're charged because of something els that was there fault, then you can reclaim any charges incurred from them as they are bound by law. It might take some time, and you might have to wrtite some wonderfully threatenign letters and emails, but you will get your money back.
Personally, I can't stand direct debits.

Re: Brca 3rounds Gt and F1
Because you've given them your details, you've already authorised them to take payments, which always works against the buyer, never the seller. I bought an amstrad emailed phone a few years ago, they didn't post it, I opened a dispute, got most of my money, but there wasn't enough money in their account to pay me the rest, but the thing is, you're supposed to be protected against this by paypal and I wasn't.
Re: Brca 3rounds Gt and F1
Yea but If you buy stuff over the phone give them you card details for the one transaction thats the same as giving permission to take the amount to pay for it not again 3 or even 6 days later. . .
Yep that sounds about right . . .so yet another person who hates PAY PAL
So Cash works fine for me

I expect the Jaco lilac on the carbon wheel will be allowed too. Action Model Centre will be attending all meetings as the series official shop so I doubt tyres will be an issue, they had them in stock at the last 12th national.
