Drag brake on GTB spectrum 2.4g?
I've got a GTB spectrum 2.4g esc and I've set the drag brake up and it's not working? Does anyone no how to fix it or how to sort it as I am doing everything correct I the instructions.
I've looked all over the web to find no help on the drag brake problems.

when you say its not working what exactly do you mean..........
Are you expecting it to break for you into corners as soon as you let off..? if so this isn't how it works mate, its to replicate the motor breaking of a brushed motor it's very subtle but does work, increasing your dead band may also help so the ESC defo knows its in neutral position and applies the drag break, i have the GTB2 non 2.4Ghz basically the same thing tho and it does work but it dont ram the breaks on..... well not like when i tap the breaks it could stop on a dime........

Wayne why do you want drag brake mate? having the car coast into the corners is so much better (like 12th pan cars) I dont run any drag brake what so ever

I had drag brake on my G2 car and liked how it handled and it suited my style of driving so when I went brushless I tryed to get the drag brakes to work for me as I drive hard into the corners and have to brake myself then hit the gass. I'm told the drag brake will shave time of coming of the gass to brake for the corners.
But the drag brake is nothing like my other car so coasting it is and a new style of driving for me

on the settings Wayne is it 1 to 10 ?
and yours is on what ?

Amount of braking being applied while transmitter is at neutral. AKA ‘coast’ brakes.
>> Increasing this setting makes the motor slow down more without pushing the transmitter’s trigger into the brake/reverse direction.
Note: Yellow LED will be ON when ESC is at neutral if this setting is above 0%.
Setting (# of flashes) 1...2..3..4..5....6....7....8...9...10
Drag Brake (%): . . . . 0 .3..6..9..12..15..18..21..24..30
6 is factory default

I have it set on 10 Gazza and when I put forward drive on and come of the gass it doesnt slow the car down at all, also when I put it on 1 there is no difference.
The yellow light is on in neutral but there is no drag breaking like it did on other esc's.
Don't no if it's a very slight drag but it deffo ain't strong enough.
Oh well I will just change my driving style to suit

I know the brakes on brushless are weak could be a fe things

No mate. I will be up for the 15th may.
I've not touched my car since last week and just wanted to no if I need to do anything with the lipo as I won't be using it till the 15th?

Ahhh the beauty of LiPo's. . .
Nope if you have just done a race and left it as its thats fine just make sure its unpluged ( so as not to drain )
and thats it charge the day before if you want or turn up charge and race
