Viper R/C is proud to announce the new VTX1 Sensored Brushless ESC. The VTX1 all aluminum case disperses heat without the use of a fan. It comes preloaded with eight profiles which are all customizable for different applications. Or add your own profile for a track or track condition. The VTX1 is designed for 1/12 and 1/10 scale on road applications without radio receiver pack. It is also a perfect option for competitive 1/10 off road racing. The top of the line power FETs in the VTX1 will provide ultra-low resistance for blinking mode races. Its sophisticated boost timing firmware will be your best choice to the podium finishes. well spotted gazza... mine is already on a plane!
mine is all good now i have found the go.faster button.
i doubt you will find better made kit and the staff are awesome

I was emailing the company direct last week - these seem a really nice little unit and could be perfect for 1s LiPo racing.
My main question was to do with how (if at all) they boosted the input battery voltage to the receiver, servo and PT. A chap called Willie was replying to my emails and said that, "you will get stable voltage output from 4.5V to 5.5V depending on your setting, The BEC controller is capable to handle 3A." That sounds really promising, a bit like a HobbyWing, LRP SXX or Nosram Pearl.
Dazzler, if you could confirm this with your speedo when you get it wired in I would appreciate it - just measure the voltage across the + and - pins on the receiver and let us know what it it.
Like I said, it all looks good for more 1s LiPo racing and the more choics we have the better!
