TRRAC 2nd January
On Saturday the 2 nd Of January TRRAC will be holding the inaugural TRRAC GT10 and Formula 1 Grand Prix. - Doors Will open at 12.30pm


The Race Format will be 4 Heats of FTD and 1 Final with prizes to be awarded to the top 3 in each final.

GT10 to run with a 10.5 Motor Limit and Battery voltage no higher than 7.4v. (2s Lipo, or 4Cell Nimh)

F1 - Open

There will also be classes for 10 th Touring Cars and 12 th Circuit cars both to run with a 10.5 motor limit

Advanced Entry fee will be £8 per Entry.


Just that some of the Hinckley lads were asking about the 2 cell Lipo and 4 cell Nimh . . .
So is there 2 class's for this LIPo and 4cell

with trophy's for each class or is it one class and ony 1 set of trophys ?

So whats faster 2 cell lipo or 4 Cell Nimhs . .
I would say 2 cell lipo will bee faster so therefore the 4 cell nimhs will not make a A final

Any chance the Meeting on the 2nd of Jan 2010 can stay open a bit longer as I may have my F1 ready for this meeting but not sure on funds re gards a speedo and motor as of yet and wont know till possable boxing day when I can see if we have enough fonds

Hi Gazza you can enter on the day if you wish just a £1 extra on the entry fee.
So far at club nights we have had a variety of car/battery/motor options and on every ocasion 1s lipo has taken the spoils, the 2s cars are quicker on the straight, but dont seem able to use the power on the infield and the 1s/4cell nimhs pull away sufficient to hold off on the straight.
But point taken and if the entry becomes sufficient to warrant it then we may run two classes.

Round up the possie then gazza as this will be one hell of a grid on the 2nd jan tell the hinckley boys to get booked in quickly not long now to go and from what jeff was saying this will become a BRCA officail yearly event with the indoor rounds at Tamworth and the outdoor at Eastbourne bloody wicked a day by the sea as well maybe we can share a ice cream on the front gazza.
I must say the F1 has took off past my wildest dreams and proud to be a part of it along with Marti dont forget we are giving a trophy on the day for the fastest lap looks like dez will be in the runing so get practice in for the rc circuit cars fastest lap
