All things Carbon for 1/14 Carisma's

Thought I would start a post see what carbon goodies are out there for the 1/14.

This is what I have found upto now;

Uprated Lighter Chassis

Few guys at bedworth RC track are using theses - not sure if they have noticed any difference.

The real ‘PRO’ style Recoil Pro/ Carisma chassis. Streamlined, narrower, lighter, more tweak resistant and just more refined. Add in the optional carbon fiber shock towers and you’ll transform your Recoil/Carisma into a true pro caliber racer.

-100% American made quasi weave carbon fiber. Did you know that the ‘Recoil Pro’ chassis only has a carbon fiber laminate with a fiberglass core!? This translates to a much heavier chassis than the EX14.

-The EX14 is designed with a 2mm bottom plate, 1.5mm top plate and 2mm battery strap.
3.

-Bottom plate design allows you to modify the arms for attaching droop stop screws.
4.

-Uses a Hitec 225MG or similar 1/12th size servo.
5.

-Allows the use of optional battery strap taping.
6.

-Normal size battery cut outs for 2/3a NIMH packs.
7.

-Maintains the stock wheel base.
8.

-Includes bottom, top and battery strap plate, droop screws and battery hold pegs as well as instructions and a sticker kit.

Carbon Shock Towers;

Im currently running these at the moment. Theres talk that they can crack from a bad impact. Fingers crossed after the bad smash I had the other week (due to dodgy reciever) they have shown no signs.

CML Distribution also do an upgrade shasis for the carisma that is a direct copy of the standard 1, also this shasis is the 1 supplyed on the GT14 upgraded kit
