Re: Mardave National circuit serries
Yep should be good. I think I may swap classes from supadave for the last round and mix it up. Great series and great days racing.

Hi mate the next round is at ardent not hinkley. This is for absolute definate.
The web page banner is misleading I agree and hope people don't end up at hinkley.

Re: Mardave National circuit serries
I was recently asked by Paul to approach the BRCA 1/12th Circuit Committee about the possibility of a recognised BRCA national Mardave circuit series. The response was as follows;
There is no reason why such a series cannot be catered for in the BRCA
It is likely that such events would fall under the 1/12th Circuit banner
The 1/12th circuit section would be happy to support Mardaves as a subsidiary class - this was done with the Micro section to begin with
There is no capacity at existing nationals for such a class, so an independent series would need to be organised
For that you need a committee of 3-5 people who can committ to it
The committee has to include a chairman, secretary and treasurer at the minimum
The committee should agree a set of rules and organise/promote/run the events
The 1/12th circuit committee would provide support with contacts and guidance where and when required

Re: Mardave National circuit serries
Ok Mark as you can see the 1/12th are ready to take us on along with the BRCA as well Me and Gazza started this and you guys debated it along with others so now you have it clear cut from Mark that they will take us on!!!! This is fantastic news.
May i suggest that you run a mini series based over 5 months that being Ardent Tamworth DDMCR and reverse as well this will prove to the BRCA that we are serious about making this work. I sent the e mail just over a week ago and thank Mark Stiles for his prompt action. I told everyone if you knock on doors hard soon they will open i cannot do anymore as im not on the committee but one word of advice dont let the grass grow to quick strike while the iron is hot guys i gave you the building blocks now lets build the house!!!!!!!

Re: Mardave National circuit serries
My advice now would be to finalise a committee and get your rules written up. Perhaps even get some provisional dates/venues lined up (try and make them spread over the UK and not just in the west midlands; there are suitable tracks/clubs everywhere). Then bring them along to the BRCA 1/12th scale EGM for presentation to the committee. They can then give you the green light to go ahead with it all if they are happy with what you're planning.
The EGM is on Saturday 16th April at the Hockley Heath Premier Inn, starting at 1pm.
If you would like a slot on the agenda then I can ask the secretary to give you one; you might have to sit through us lot debating our own rules for a bit though I'm afriad.
