True or not???
I've been looking over the net for a speed controller and I want the mtronik oval or the speedmaster v60 after my last post on here.
When I've phone model shops and clubs I have had mixed reports on these when I tell them it's for racing not banger racing? I'm told both speed controllers have no break and instant reverse so it would be very bad to use for normal racing?
Am I wrong that if you are on full throttle and you wack it in reverse then it just slows down like breaking? I no with breaking speedos it's more progressive but shurly this is fine for normal racing?
Also if you put a little reverse on does that not slow you down like a progressive break?
Please help by letting me no what setup you all run and what your thoughts are on a forward/reverse against a forward/break/reverse?
Cheers all

Re: True or not???
ok the New oval has instant reverse ? so yes no brakes as such
the v60 when braking and returning to forwards motion.
Emergency or heavy braking (even at slow speeds) can be achieved by instant response reverse power aided breaking when required.
Pure variable brakes merge into reverse power ?
the v60 is Very confusing has it or not ?

The v60 is a must!
It has breaking but its only a 1/4 of the reverse stick before you hit reverse.
