Who's used them?

Your thoughts please

Looks like there a little easier to understand with only 3 fronts & 2 rears to choose from unlike the Mardave ones

I'm running LB racing tyres and the difference is unbelieveable.
I never run any addative and notice no change in grip throughout a run.
All I can say is get some and see for yourself, you'll never move back to UFRA tyres.

Nice one Karl. I will be getting a set as soon as I can. Are they the 27 T0 or 30 T1 that you used on the 20th?

Are you running the V60 esc?

On the 20th I was running the 27 T0 with no addative on the rear and the LB48 fronts with no addative. I tried jap meds on the front but the 48's were nearly half a second quicker per lap!

BuddyRC wrote:Are you running the V60 esc?

Yes I am running the V60 esc, miles better than anything I've ever run in a mardave.

I got mine from TIC Racing, seems to be the best place other than going direct to speedmaster. If you want more LB tyres I will be selling them at meetings.

Thanks fo all your kind words about out tyres, it has taken us a few years to get the correct compound and we beleive we have now got it right.
Let me just explain our labelling of the tyres to avoid any confusion:-

LB - Thats us!
T - Trued & Glued on our revolution wheel (not the Mardave one)
D - Donuts
O - 27 shore
I - 30 shore
II - 35 shore (coming soon)
45-48-50 are the front shore and denote the shore rating

So a LBTO willbe a pair of Trued and glued 27 shore tyres, LBDO wil be a pair of donuts 27 shore.

TIC have a full range of donuts in stock and Karl will be able to supply at meetings, please see our website if you have any problems.

Martin.

45 fronts and O rears were spot on at TRCC without additive. Turned in like a 12th pancar Very Happy

Only got two runs in before the DX3S went down. No

Will be trying the others once the transmitters back from Horizon.

Not 100% but I think 32 but I used v54p for one race then I put my v54pu set on and they were more grippy but not much.

I've now got the lb 27's on and don't think I will be going back to the v54pu's seen as you don't need additive, (I hate putting the additive on so it's a big thumbs up for me).

I will miss making the lovely 11's on the track thow Sad
