Ardent Winter Series Teaser 2011/2012

Ardent Winter Series 2011/2012 starts in October.

Dates, rules, classes, sponsors will all be announced this Sunday.

Just a few new things for our second Winter series,

1) Manufacturer challenge (aimed at getting you noticed if you are not already sponsored by your preferred manufacturer)

2) New "Outdoor like" track markings

3) New external Sponsor

4) End of series Trophies for top 15 in each class

5) Touring Cars Limited to 10.5 and 13.5 only

and there's more, but that will wait until Sunday.

yeah i was wondering that i just thought it might be a seperate one

looks like they will be doing a 4wd day and a 2wd day so all should be well in the world!

Lol, You try getting Mardave and other 2wd class sponsors to give prizes, it's like trying to get blood from a stone. Tight arses. At least I got a hot air balloon ride from Kick. Sponsors associated with Touring cars at least give you something. :-)

I know what you mean John but we all paid the same to race no matter what just cos some one drives a Dave and another a TC the MUCH MORE power supply ETC is used by all racers not just a TC guy

And you have a responsibility to sponsors to ensure their prizes are handed over in a way that gets maximum PR to their target market. It's all commercial stuff that has to happen to make things tick. No one will ever understand until they run their own track. Ian will tell you, I haven't slept properly for 2 weeks because of the commercials and politics around choosing Control Tyres. Wrong decision and the track suffers.

just a possibility here john but would tic or mardave themselves not support the dave section?

So let me get this right they all told you NOT to give the prize's to any Mardave or F1 driver ?

Hi Fellas!

Long time lurker here, I've been racing at Ardent since April this year - loving it so far!

I've entered the Winter Series for the 13.5T touring car class....

There's just one thing I noticed today on the winter series web site, it says that

Racer Class – Any 13.5 turn Brushless Motor to BRCA Rules, Moorespeed Tyres

What exactly is meant by 'BRCA Rules', - I looked at the list of allowed motors for 2011 and my Tekin Redline 13.5T isn't there!!

Could anyone please clear up what it means?

Nope - I'm not a member of the BRCA.

I know a little about some of the rules, such as no reversing allowed etc...

Well you will need Brca to cover insurance or 3rd party Liability hence join the brca and you will get a hand book with all the rules in hence

What exactly is meant by 'BRCA Rules',

as its all in there

go to the brca web site and look up your class to find the rules to go by is all I can sugest for the moment
