Ardent Raceway wrote:I have taken your comments on board and as I am (believe it or not) a human being who has ALWAYS listened to what my fellow racers want I have decided to reduce the price in the 2WD events to £10 on the day and £8 if you book and pay in advance in August that's £56 for 7 days and 56 hours of RC racing!! . (If you have already booked in and paid I will refund the difference).

Remember i'm a racer, doing this as a hobby for others to enjoy, i'm not a cold character with an ego, you can always talk to me, putting on an event like this is a massive deal for one person to organise and promote and you know sometimes you can get things wrong.

I thank Neil for bringing this to my attention earlier today.

Hope you now join us, remember if you want to race then please at least book in and select pay on the day (especially all you that refuse to use Paypal - see this option was done JUST FOR YOU, so I do listen :-) that way we can coordinate heats and pre-book drivers in.

Happy Racing.

John.

P.S. Please show your support for this move, I am in the process of refunding £350 out to 25 people that had pre-booked and pre-paid for the 2wd series, I hope this was the right thing to do, if not then i've just cost the Raceway.

Ardent DO Daves, Stocksbridge dont.

Mini set-up for Stocksbridge is pretty basic really:-

S-Grip rear tyres
kit tyres front

or

Sweep 33/24s all round

Yellow rear/White front springs (my pref.)

Ball-raced

Ball Diff (optional)

I have also ran S front and M rears, as you see everything else is from the box.

People just need to talk to me, I'm not in this to massage my ego or enforce my control and power on everyone. I just want people to have fun and be able to pay the bills :-)

Not really "seeing the light at the end of the tunnel", more like "didn't know there was a tunnel situation". :-)
