Battery trays? 7.4v lipo

Hi Guys,

I'm going to be using a 7.4v lipo on 20t brushed motor in a Mardave

What battery tray shall I go for? Lexan or ABS?? Or are there any better ways of keeping my lipo in place??

My S/H car had a lexan Kamtec tray fitted and double sided taped to chassis, is it best to bolt it down or will servo tape be ok??

AS far as I`m aware the do not make battery trays to keep in 7.4v .

Simple I use Car trim tape to stick the lipo in and then some strapping tape over just to make sure.

They do make 7.4v battery trays for the saloon stock guys. Because the battery hangs over the chassis edges its better to go for the slightly heavier but stronger ABS one to protect the battery abit more which if its a 2s lipo is essential.
