Dog slow? :(

So at my club every one has all switched over to brushless kinda annoying

im the only one running a G2 motor on 4 cells how ever this monday im going dog slow this isnt compared to the brushless guys , but like i cant go faster then half throttle ive tryed a brand new g2 that didnt change anything ive recently brought a new handset from jimbojames not sure if that would effect the speed

allso im running pretty old cells but theve been cycled on the pro trak and there still good i have 8 sets of 4 cell 4600s surely not all my cells have gone off at once ?


any one have any ideas?

Could be your hand set throttle epa is incorrectley set?

Once i figure out how to actualy sort that stuff out i will , ive gopne from the old hitec flash 4 handset to a nice ne wshiny futaba one all alien to me

OMG always read instrunctions on ESC and TX before running . .
I have heard of so many people blowing up ESC as they wernt set up properley and like Nick Says the EPA ( End Point Adjustment )

Thank you very much now all my epa and everything is all set to 100% and novak speedo is now reset

How ever when not on the track its brillaint you rev it up and its brilliantly fast *well for a G2* however on the deck its dog slow Tryed all my sets of cells and 2 G2s all same result

I take it this is new ?

Dont tell me its 2nd hand and you did see it working before you bought it did'nt you

Model Runs Slowly/Slow Acceleration
• Check motor and battery connectors––Replace if needed.
• Bad battery or motor––Check operation with another.
• Incorrect transmitter/ESC adjustment––Refer to Steps 4 & 5.
• External Power Capacitor damaged/not installed––Refer to Step
3/Replace Power Capacitor (possible internal damage).
• External Schottky diode damaged––check that diode is installed
correctly/Refer to Step 3.

nah got given it second hand and it worked brilliantly getting second 3rd in the A-Final i figured it out you was right it was the nice new shiny hand set eps throttle was set to 20% LOL i luaghed dosent mean you get to Gazza
