Hereford Today Empty Hereford Today

Post  Admin Mon Nov 21, 2011 12:15 am

Well up at 5 30 for the long drive down to Hereford some 80 miles from my home but i wanted to bring you guys the results from Saturday. and some pics from today.
When i arrived at the place the first sight was James and Gazza at the food wagon, Both looked in good sprit maybe something to do with sharing a bedroom for two days.
They seem to have bonded realy well over their steak candel light dinners.
Sadly James had left his glasses back at the hotel he did say something about pushing the beds back apart and thinks his glasses fell down the centre. Well thats another story.

Good to meet Jimbo
James in the flesh had a nice long chat with him quite a keyed up guy. James was runing the CE chassis as were a few Karl dransfiels soon returned from the CE chassis to his old faithfull alloy one. Gazza was runing the GP2 chassis and was doing just fine till a change of tyres yesterday seen him doing grip rolls. it was good to see the lads Poor Tomo looked the worse for wear very glazed eyes i really thing he could have done with a few more hours in bed.
Ghost was there full of smiles and his well turned out 12th. I was shocked to see so many mods already with the CE chassis Richard Ishwood was there with his Carbon chassis on display but at this moment no price for it he and Mr Wilkinson need to sort the price out.

Here is the standings after Saturdays rounds.

Mardave A Final

1ST RICHARD ISHERWOOD
2ND JAMES CARVELL
3RD CHRIS HARDISTY
4TH JAMES GARRETT
5TH JOHN PLUMBER
6TH GARY CRISP
7TH GRAHAM OLIVER
8TH JON ISHERWOOD
9TH JOSHUA GRIFFITHS
10TH HARLEY ELDRIDGE
11TH LEON HOLMES

So a good turn out of Mardaves im sure ghost will do a write up on the 12th guys so after a couple of hours it was the long ride home to bring you the results guys. the highlight of the day was travelling home when i watched a rather posh car collide with a farmers trailer full of hay. no one was hurt but the posh car landed about 2 foot from my car that made me crap my pants.
Ok enjoy the pictures guys and please feel free to copy any that you like.

The problem turned out to be tyres in the end. I had incorrectly marked up a set of 45s as 50s Embarassed
So when I ran the same tyres on the alloy chassis the exact same problem occured. However when I was met with grip roll on the first time out with a new car I figured that a national was not the place to try it. So I shall be running it in anger at the next round or the ardent winter series Very Happy. Just want to say I had a wicked days racing and cheers to everyone for some fantastic company!
