West Suffolk Model Car Club - All Day Meeting (11 March 2012)

West Suffolk Model Car Club are pleased to anounce that we will be hosting an all day race meeting on 11 March 2012. This will be held at our usual venue - Risby Village Hall, just outside Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk.


This meeting has been arranged to act as a practice / warm up meeting for our up-coming, 3 round summer series (3 meetings to be held in May / June / July, dates to be anounced).


Racing will be on Primafelt carpet, track measuring 12x20m. AMB timing is used with either PTs or hand out transponders available. Additives (odourless) are allowed.


Doors will open at 8:00am, booking in by 9:00am and we aim to finish around 6:00pm. The planned format will be 3 rounds of qualifying and 3 finals (best 2 to count). Classes will be 1s LiPo / 13.5t Brushless (run to current "BRCA" rules), 4-cell NiMh / G2 Brushed and "SuperDave".


Race fees will be £6 for one class and £8 for two classes.


There will be a Mardave spares shop, soft drinks, chocolates, tea / coffee and hot snacks (bacon butties, soups etc) available for sale during the day.
