ballraced front end
Anyone had any problems with the Mardave ballraced front end?
My wheels do not run true. The ballraces are an extremely tight fit in the wheels, I think this might be the problem. Anyone had this bother?

Re: ballraced front end
Hi ya
Yes we all have. . . and as there is no instructions from Mardave or any thing on the web Site I feel this is a good product gone bad
Any way the axles need a bit of emery paper over them hold axle in dremell or Batt drill and with a little sanding at a time try the fit
thats all I can tell you
I bined mine and went back to the old ones

Yes i had the same problem and did the same mod but still had problems even after replacing the bearings too!
Also i found it made the car to positive on the front and did not suit my driving style.
I ended up chucking them and put the good old front end on and went quicker

Yep same here and I think Buddy Rc aka Wayne has gone away from them also.
P.s if you bend the stub axle which does happen sometimes then you will not get the already tight bearings off again so you end up replacing the bearing and the stub axle.

Re: ballraced front end
I bought a set of the bearing from Ardent a few weeks ago, but he didn't have any wheels in, so I haven't used them. My fronts are nice and free anyway as they are, without any slop.

Re: ballraced front end
Tomo is right I have gone to the normal front wheels as the ballrace is crap and if you want to swap wheels you have to buy another set of bearings or take them out of the other everytime and they don't work nearly as good as with no bearings.
Also they get stuck and you can't get them of very easy and being bearing you would think they would spin better but after a few runs on the track they don't work very well.
