Very nice mate, is it all sprayed or is some stickers? I would put chrome wheels or a nice deep blue with a silver shimmer.
I wont be doing the d1 as i just dont have the funds or the time to get to silverstone. Good look with it kida.

Re: Drift shell for 2011 D1rc
the basic rules about the shells is the represented car must either be saloon, sports car or have been used in the worldsF1 drift series. basically it excluedes GT, supercars and the likes.
the only rule i hate is that both diffs must be locked, no one ways or bearinged diffs and i prefer using an active diff in the rear of the car but no not allowed to do tha
si, a one way diff is a diff with a one way bearing in it thats used in the front of the car, this means you can get drive going forwards but there will be no reverse power or breaks to the front wheels of the car.

Re: Drift shell for 2011 D1rc
Didnt realise it was locked diff front and rear as i thought Tom had a 1 way on his car when we all used to drift. Im shocked to here you cant use a 1 way diff as they mention it alot on other drift forums?
Si my fellow lover A 1 way diff is as gazag said and they are ace fun when you get used to them, it acts as a handbreak as there is no drive in reverse on the front so when you come of the power and hit reverse then the rear spins back and the front does nothing so it spins the back end round. I payed £45 for mine from fusionhobbies and that is the one for the TT01.

No diff rules at D1RC gents, nice shell btw. You might find that metal wing has an adverse effect on your drifting, particularly during transitions, just an observation, plastic is a bit more drift friendly.

Re: Drift shell for 2011 D1rc
ohh, last year i was told locked diffs all round so i assumed it was same this year, ill be changing my setup them to my preference
and i find the ali wing actually helps my transitions and drift, the little extra weight on the rear end gives a little more grip and helps my preference in how i drift

Re: Drift shell for 2011 D1rc
Never been any rules on diffs so do as you please, I always found that any extra weight at the rear gave too much momentum to the back end causing huge angles and loss of speed but as you say everybody approaches drifting differently, my Pro-D is practically undriveable for most people who have a go but I find it suits my drifting just right (as long as no straight line driving is required)
