Re: GP DATES NOW UP
the Mardave brushless is around a 10.5
So unless you can get a few more for a heat
then what battery pack you running 4 cell or 1s
they all need to be the same
Hope that helps

Re: GP DATES NOW UP
Its currently set up for 1c lipo.
I built it like that because wrongly or rightly I though the Mardave classes would run 'mardave' motors.
But if there isn't enough others the same I'll swap it out & put a 13.5 in.

Re: GP DATES NOW UP
Right guys have been talking to John at ardent the price is £10.00 per round so £9.00 if you are a ardent membership holder rc circuit cars are not making any money at all from this i am paying for the trophies out my own pocket thats not bad £10 i think even i have to pay to race in the series. so what do you get for your £10.00 a cracking day of Mardaves and Gt10 and F1's and we get our own race director for each round so it will be run spot on and no its not Mr dawson who will be the race director. i hope this meets with everyones aproval. Best 3 to count for the end of series winners 1st 2nd 3rd in each class
Re: GP DATES NOW UP
Hi all,
Just to be clear, GT10 rules are 1s 10.5 or 2s 13.5 both with no boost speedos??
I would prefer the 10.5 to allow boost. I havent got my GT10 yet but I would presume that the 13.5 2s would be quick than the 10.5 1s.
Cheers
Chris

Re: GP DATES NOW UP
We are running 10.5 & 13.5 and open esc to see how it goes a bit like F1 to see how it fairs out . . .
Remember its just for FUN hopefully every one will see how they fair is it the right way or the wrong way . .
To be honest even I dont know but Last time Jason Butterfield with his 10.5 and 1s wiped the floor even with us 13.5 2s Guys. . . could be a weight ratio thing but lets see

Applying Gazzas commens from the beginning of the post it would appear so as long as you run with a 1s lipo

Re: GP DATES NOW UP
Is the tekin rs speedo allowed in the 13.5 class if i use a neutral throttle profile (i.e no timing advance), it's easy enough to scrutineer by the amount of bleeps it makes when it switches on. It would just save me buying a new speedo as this is the only brushless speedo I have
