Tamworth dates's
[b]here you go guys
Hi Paul just a quick line to let you know about last nights meeting. After we had sorted club business and sorted arrangements for the upcoming 12th national in decmber we discussed various ideas for a league to try and generate more interest in the club, as we discussed on the Saturday we need to try and raise some funds for new equipment to ensure the club can continue to run National events to the necessary standards required.
We have a new web site which hopefully will be up and running by the weekend which will carry details of all club activities dates ect.
On the league front we are aiming to run i/12th pan cars, 1/10th touring cars.GT 10 and F1 with micros added if sufficient entries. With the exception of F1 all catorgaries to be 19t or 10.5 brushless max 7.4 volts. With the F1 we need your input as to regs /motors ect as we have no experience of this class as to date.
We have also took the liberty of using a date which we have spare for want of a better word and would like to promote a GPmeeting for F1 and GT10 again any input would be appreciated as to regs format ect.
It may be that for GT10 we adopt the regs that may be voted in at the BRCA agm next week (also on the agenda for the agm is a proposal for a National meeting for F1 to be run along side the junior nationals in the summer)
The league series to be run over 5 meetings with the best 3 to count for the championship.
Provisional dates are
24 oct club meeting
14 nov 1st round
28 nov club meeting
05 dec 2nd round
12/13th dec 12th National
02 jan F1 GT10 GP meeting (provisional TBC)
03 jan 1/18th off road National
16 jan 3rd round
30 jan club meeting
13 feb 4th round
27 feb club meeting
13 mar 5th round
03 apr club meeting
17 apr Liveys smile charity meeting (provisional TBC.
Points for the league to be 20 points for fist place 19 for second ect points scored on position in finals.
Trophys for top 3 in each class trophy for top junior in each class.
We will be anounceing at the October club meeting the league and some other minor changes to the club, ie membership £5, fees on the night £5 for members £6 for non members + £1 packing away surcharge, refundable after packing away
*note to race you must be a member of the BRCA for insurance purposes (available through the club at a £2 discount)
Any ideas to get the seriesup and running will be welcome above all we want to retain the relaxed and fun atmosphere that we enjoy. Cheers jeff.

Re: Tamworth dates's
Paul,
You not racing the F1's then? just saw you had put both up for sale.
You will have to count m out the first date on the list as i dont have BRCA membership and can't apply till Nov 1st.

Hi Alex you are allowed a three meeting grace before joining the BRCA at club level, after that you need to join for the insurance cover provided.

Also Alex if you apply on the fisrst of nov i am sure Jaqui will have it all sorted in a matter of days. Alternativly you could use the 3meeting grace and apply via Tamworth club or any other club and save your self £2

Re: Tamworth dates's
Hi Jeff,
I intended to get it sorted as quick as possible, thats why i was pestering the BRCA to find out the earliest i could apply for 2010. I've done 2 club meets at Bedworth, so i should be ok for the club meet on the 24th. Would like to use the club meet to find some sort of setup, was going to use brushless for indoor.
