gearing ....?

ok .... slight issue ...i have installed a castle sct side winder into me short coutrse truck ...the motor stays cool an the speedo thermal shut dopwn kicked in ...am i right in saying speedo hot gear up ...motor hot gear down ..? ...

not overly sure with the sidewinder but what perameters have you set it to? sounds like some thing not right with the tuning, can you reset it all to base settings and go from there? also is it set to brushless?

yeah it's set to brushless , lipo safe ect , runs nice and fast , like a bullet off the mark ..but have heard some sy gear down , its running a 13 tooth pionon as it is..lol , trian and error me thinks

i think sheepdog is right that not overly sure with the sidewinder but what perameters have you set it to? hope this suggestion will help you.
