Ian Plimmer take the win at Ardent
Well as no one from the Mardave section ( circuit car series ) has posted
The event went real well as far as I could see ( as uasual setting up other cars and general helping out )
It was nice to see Ian Plimmer with a Dave and for his first time out I was well impressed by the way he got it to handle.
I seen it go around and boy was it quick and then seen Johns and how slow his was ?
This is a shame as we are still seeing motors that are good and bad ie one is faster than the other. .
But he did manage to put in a 20 Lapper with a G2 Brushed and 4 cells
the same as me in my Brushless set up I too was putting in a 20 Lapper . . . so there you go
any way now you all know why some of us run 1s Lipo and a 13.5
Any way well done to Ian he took the FTD ( Fastest Time of the DAY )
which put him on pole and he also took the win
Well done mate you did well. . . Now will we see this at the Hinckley venue ?

Re: Ian Plimmer take the win at Ardent
Ian only took fastest time of the day in stock
But he is a quality driver and hit the sweet spot with his car for sure. I think john may have over geared his car and not let the motor rev as much.
Special mention to stox who qualified well down in the A final but put in two very good drives to get two second places in the finals following Ian home only a few seconds adrift.

I know as I said the lad had it right in the sweet spot. Was a joy to watch him drive it. Mikey raced him really well in the final but didnt realise he was a lap down at the time he was going door to door with Ian.
A really good day all in all
