Just one point. . . I could not hear what you where saying ? Sad

but the thing is was it the AXLE or the PLASTIC that was binding

This was just a strip and rebuild of what was on the chassis. I had to line things up so they weren't binding. KP was OK so I had to wiggle the axle in the steering block to get it to move freely. Not sure what new parts are like yet but will find out over the next few days Very Happy

if you have to wiggle the axle to make it free. . whats the chance it could foul up in a race . . . i.e bind again

Everything is pretty tight in the reassembly so would not expect it to move unless I it takes a big clout and then would expect the car to hook right or left depending on which side gets it. Between runs the car would the once over just like I do with a 12th pan-car.
