Brushless question?

I want to upgrade my novak ex 13.5 with a sintered rotor etc. I have been offered a velocity 6.5 that has got hot, due to a speedo fault I have been told, will the rotor be ok or is it this that gets damaged when hot? What Qs do I need to ask? Thanks

Just asked him a few qs and the motor still runs but gets hot quickly, any ideas anyone??

how longs a piece of string ?

Could be the gearing

could be the ESC

Could even be the motor

Is that why he is geting rid of it ?

It could be the sensor's that was edit when the motor got hot the first time?
How much is he wanting for the motor?

As I said I only want the rotor and endbell off it, if the rotor will be any good as it is sintered. He wants £10 for it.

hmm do you want to risk it?
As i said if its been cooked then most likely the sensor board has failed not to sure on the rotor.
If you want to risk it then buy it if not look for other motors that can be had 2nd hand for good dosh

Yea think I will keep looking, would like an SS 13.5 if anyone has one for sale?

i have one that i rarely use its missing it's middle sleeve but has a losi one in atm which is just a bit to small runs like a beauty
