And Gazza i believe chris is on talks with mroinks thinking about a way forward for the g2 system.
Wicked News Sam. . . he's finally listening to the customer hope its not like the V10 been waiting for that for over 2 years
Well . . .WHEN. . . its due for testing send one this way I will defo test it and make sure its up to scratch we dont want another G2 brushless disaster ( I hope by the way its a Sensored 13.5 system ) cause at the moment the Fusion 13.5 combo is MEGA

For £85 its real cheap and 3 weeks ago we were told you can now buy them seprate so the esc is £42 I think
Now if Chris and Mtroniks can do this we might have a winner at long last

Is that what you had in your mega Dave Gazza?? as looking at the pics from the last round @ Ardent it looks like you have a Tekin installed with poss a GM motor??? so how can you say that the above combo is the best if your NOT running it??
I personally looking forward to the NEW V10 weather it does or doesnt have a Caterham shell fitted

Re: New Mardave stuff
Gazza..... I will hopefully be there with my brushed Dave, didn't do to badly at the last meeting quali'd in the A final but then got really bad interference/glitching/poor radio range so decided not to race the 2nd final :-(
Tomo.....yeah its good to be back mate, sorry i didn't get muc time to talk to you at Ardent!! Racing 2 classes meant I didn't get much time for anything :-( F1's aint sold yet!!! I heard the driving standards were quiet bad in the F1 heat!! Tbh glad I wasn't racing the F1! Miss the close racing I've had with you and Nick Turner :-)

Re: New Mardave stuff
just to let you know gazza been told that the old mtroniks brushless has been discontinued and they are suppose to be bringing in a new setup......
As far as you naming different editions then we should of had a darren potter 2011 edition lol for oval, and i bought 2010 vrx model.....and i got given the worlds stuff all that was different was that i got some extra springs and a shiny blue chassis and it cost me £30 extra without esc and shell.
anyway i think it is stupid having a works driver edition, no offence here sam as your damn site faster than me lol but i think we should just have 1 normal edition with option of mech or esc and the vrx edition which is for circuits then the banger evo, mini and stock car,

Re: New Mardave stuff
LOL yea If Sam had raced in circuit and done well and won. . . . yea a sam gray car wicked
But as Nick won why not call it a Nick Cooper champion car
Mtroniks scraped it have they . . . . I wonder why PMSL
Lets hope they have learnt and bring out a SENSORED version other wise there wasting time and money AGAIN
I wish they would look at racers and see what they are running TC / 1/12th / GT etc we all use SENSORED

Re: New Mardave stuff
im running a sensorless system and my system goes as well as any sensored system so in mardave it dosent make that much of a diffrence IMO.

Re: New Mardave stuff
well the guy wants £50 for the mtroniks setup with pit card, obviously the motor is to big as i think it works out to 10.5T and i just want a 13.5T now is it worth buying this and getting a motor that would work or just paying £30 extra and getting the fusion setup?
Re: New Mardave stuff
up 2 you mate . . ..
I personally now as I have tried a few would go
1st GTB2
2nd Fusion
3rd LRP

Re: New Mardave stuff
well after looking at the GTB2 my budget just wont be able to stretch that far lol, so i think i will be going with the fusion esc/motor combo and the booster you gave
Re: New Mardave stuff
So ive just read through this entire post im curiuse Sam what is it you race then as in speed controller motor
now ive got the fusion set up motor and speedo (currently in one of my 1/10ths)
and im toying round with the idea of buying the LRP SPX Zero which has a boost zero mode for constant performance basicly no boosting on it and running either the fusion 13.5 or one of my gm13.5s
at present im running the old yellow chassis v12 mardave with the real thick 205 pug shell (as its my first Dave) which i got from my dad with complete radio gear and servo for £40
The speedo is the ipc sport digital (think its an old lrp) im running the htec hfs-03mm 40mehz rec and hitec flash4 handset servo is a futaba 3003 and usint a trinity pro 27 turn stock , and at the new YPLO Arena
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
im placing in the B final this tracks awsome as you can see from the pic its a perm track and is litraly only for mardaves , but i pretty much run my Dave at Wsmcc every monday and thats a hugh track
but i will be going over to brusless soon , more then likely taking my gear outa my touring car and use it in the mardave and eventualy run 1c lipos i think there allowed not sure
Regards Jay
