we usually race every fortnight alternating between oval and circuit
sunday mornings door open at 8am racing starts 9am till 1pm
we have exellent facilities
disabled access
we use the iris infa red transponder timing system with a bridge
BRCA registered
oval we follow BRCA rules
circuit much more relaxed but based on the mardave circuit series rules
we race hot rods,saloon stox,caterhams
as well as brushless on circuit days
track is 14m x 6m oval 8m circuit

West Suffolk RCCC - Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.

We have recently started to race Mardave V12 Circuit cars at our Monday evening meetings at Risby village hall, just outside Bury.

Our track is 20x12m, Primafelt GT carpet and marked out using plastic guttering and hose for the corners. Most members run to the 13.5 brushless 'rules' with either 4-cell or 1s lipo. We allow diffs, front and rear bearings and additive although most racers find that additive is not really needed on our high grip carpet. Our exact club rules are yet to be written but we have a gentleman's agreement that non-boosted speedos are the only ones to be run.

We use AMB transponders, either personal or handout, depending on what you have.

The hall is open from around 5:30pm, first heat qualifying starts at 7:00 sharp and we are packed up by about 10:00pm. We run three qualifyers and one final.

For members (or guests) who attend regularly we offer a discounted booking in fee and point-scoring championships with prizes.
