Hi Guy's

I ran my first GT-10 car in round 1 of the BRCA national the other week and finished last in the C final.
I drove pretty clean and the car seemed very stable but I was way off the pace. Any advise on a good starting point rollout wise and any other general advise would be great. I intend to enter in to this series as well and join in the fun !!

Bit of info on set-up CRC Gen-x10, Novak GTB, Speedpassion 10.5. I run 48dp.

should have asked what size spur your using Embarassed

don't need the pinion as this is chosen to suit mmpr

which pinions did you try at Ardent?

save the spreadsheet and then change the foam diameter in the green boxes to suit your foams

On the day I had a 70 Spur and 24 pinion and the tyres were 60mm but since I have dropped the tyres to 56mm. I have several spurs from 70 up to 78 to try.

OK so reading over thread again your esc is holding you back in terms of speed. Most if not all the cars in the top 20 will have been running an esc with TOTF (Timing On The Fly) built available. Tekin's, Hobbywing 1s to name but two.

rollouts

Ardent on 60mm rears = 24/70 & 60mm = 64.63mmpr

56mm rears = 24/70 & 56mm = 60.32mmpr

to get back to similar Ardent mmpr you need 27/74 & 56mm = 64.19mmpr

Many thanks for the info, I'll check out the speedo's.
Is 64 mmpr about right then or should I be looking at a bit higher?

depends on the motor and speedo.
I ran a tekin rs pro and tekin 10.5 motor boosted with a 52mm roll out at ardent. Went down to 48mm at chesterfield and it was great so will see how it goes at ardent.

Thanks again for your help, some track time needed for me and some investment in a new ESC.

Cheers
